How to Fix Windows 7 Not Genuine Error – “This copy of Windows is not genuine”

 If you’re not running a genuine version of Windows OS or your license period has expired then you must be experiencing ‘This copy of Windows is not genuine error, right?

Chances are you have done a windows update (known as KB971033) this installs a genuine windows validation check on your pc. It can bring up false positives on occasion stating that you have an unlicensed copy even if you know you have a genuine copy.The another problem with this error is that your PC’s desktop background get black in color and wallpaper gets removed from there that looks ugly,that it becomes annoying sometimes.

How to Fix Windows 7 Not Genuine error

 In order to fix this problem you’ve to follow the steps mentioned below as it is. Don’t skip any step otherwise the motive will not be achieved. 

1. Start your PC and click on Start button.
2. Use the search tool over there and search for ‘cmd’.
3. Click on the ‘cmd’ in search result
   
4. Now type ‘SLMGR –REARM’ and hit enter. Type the words as it is otherwise method will not work.here's the screenshot

     5.Now a popup will appear as Windows Script Host which will notify that you’ve successfully completed that command and you need to restart your system and ur almost done.

In case you’re still experiencing any problem or if ur not getting the above popup window then try running the cmd prompt as administrator (Right click on the ‘cmd’ in search result and choose option ‘Run as administrator’) and follow rest of the procedure as it is...

then you need to follow below mentioned steps when ur computer is restarted,

1. Move into your control panel and then go into the Windows Update section.                                (Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Update)
2. Now click on ‘View installed updates’(it is at down left corner) and wait for all updates to get listed.
3. Now find out update with name "update for microsoft windows (KB971033) and uninstall it from your Windows.
4. Restart your PC now.

 its all done now but i recommend u to download this windows activator and run it when ur computer is restarted...

just click on advanced option (it will expand) and select SLIC,Certificate and Serial according to ur laptop/pc and ONLY CLICK ON INSTALL CERTIFICATE AND SERIAL AS SHOWN and then click OK and after getting success msg restart ur pc.....

( plz note:-dont click on install which is given on left side under software mod )
